The new FSM-60R12 from AFL offers unmatched versatility and reliability. This unit is equipped with a user-friendly interface and precision fixed V-groove. It offers 2 to 12 fiber ribbon splicing, as well as, single fiber splicing capability. There are many automated features on this rental unit such as auto-start splicing, auto-start tube heater operation and automatic ribbon fiber identification. The auto-arc calibration along with the other automated features reduces operational steps and improves splicing performance. An added feature is the ability to charge the battery during splicer operation.
